The Canyon Country Discovery Center presents:

Rachael Carson---"A Sense of Wonder"
FOR YOUNG CHILDREN – by Storyteller Sara Ransom
September 25, 2008 6:30-8pm
Four Corners School office
49 W. 600 S.
Monticello, Utah

Because young children did NOT want to leave when she presented these stories in Boulder, Colorado Sara has expanded her NEW program for children:  the wisdom of scientist and lover of the natural world: "Rachel Carson: A Sense of Wonder."

Aimed at little kids and their grown-ups, this program describes delightful encounters with the natural world -- how to be quiet and present --  and let NATURE and her animals tell YOU stories.  Rachel arrives with a magnifying glass, a penlight, a stuffed owl, and a felt board (for stars) -- and lots of sweet child-oriented stories of what can happen if you just go outside and be aware...  the animals and insects, even the weather, all have stories to tell.  Come listen to Sara and be engaged by her art and stories.

Please RSVP by September 22 to (435) 587-2156. Its free!

“To build men and women of virtue, wisdom, diplomacy, and courage
who inspire greatness in others and move the cause of liberty.”
